STREAMERS & GAMERS

What is the Ovrxtnd Coaching & Mentorship Program?

The Ovrxtnd Coaching & Mentorship program is an organized initiative that facilitates the pairing of experienced individuals (mentors) with less experienced ones (mentees) to provide guidance and support.

Additionally, the program is meant to encourage growth in the female competitive (and casual) gaming scene in hopes of creating more opportunities for women. When women do better, we all do better. See how it all works below.

How It Works

Mentors (Streamers)

Create exclusive subscription-based coaching videos, or coaching videos for purchase that Ovrxtnd houses on our platform that focus on various CoD-related topics such improving gameplay, strategy, set-up tips, etc.

Each of your videos/playlists that are purchased/subscribed to, will be received as a donation to the Ovrxtnd Foundation. A large portion of the proceeds will also go back to you, the Streamer. This amount will largely depend on how much content is created by you. Sign up to learn more!

The Ovrxtnd Foundation can also pair you up with Gamers who are looking to learn from the best. There are multiple ways you can coach Gamers—think of it like a mentorship. You can coach them for one session or multiple sessions. The Gamers will be vetted by the Foundation and you, the Streamer, to make sure that it’s a good fit.

Gamers interested in the program will make a donation to the Foundation and a large part of those proceeds will go back to you, the Streamer. Contact us for questions or sign up to learn more.

Mentees (Gamers)

Subscribe or purchase exclusive videos to learn from the best female CoD players in the industry. Videos will center around various CoD-related topics such as improving gameplay, strategy, set-up tips, etc.

Each video you purchase or playlist you subscribe to, will be received as a donation to the Ovrxtnd Foundation, which will continue to help grow Ovrxtnd’s mission. A portion of the proceeds will also go back to the Streamer, encouraging them to continue to create the content you love.

The Ovrxtnd Foundation can pair you up with the best Streamers in the industry. There are multiple ways you can be coached. You can be coached by the Streamers for one session or multiple sessions. Both the Streamers and you, the Gamer, will be vetted by the Foundation to make sure that it’s a good fit.

A donation to the Foundation is required to participate in the Coaching & Mentorship Program. If you’re interested in participating, sign up to get the process started. Contact us for questions or sign up to learn more.

Connect with streamers to discuss various topics.

One of the main goals of the Foundation is to grow the female side of CoD. Our Coaching & Mentorship program does just that by connecting Streamers and Gamers to discuss topics such as those listed below.

Common questions about the Program

If you’re a Streamer, you should participate if you:

  • Are interested in participating in a non-profit that specifically helps women like you.
  • Have an interest in growing the female gaming industry.
  • Are interested in closing the gender gap in gaming.
  • Want to teach others how to play CoD casually or competitively to grow the female CoD space.
  • Are interested in other ways of making income.

If you’re a Gamer, you should participate if you:

  • Want to learn from the best female CoD players in the world.
  • Want to support a non-profit that helps your favorite women CoD gamers and you.
  • Have an interest in growing the female gaming industry.
  • Are interested in closing the gender gap in gaming.
  • Want to give back to the industry.

If you need more reasoning than above, let us know and we can add another 20 to each list. ROFL.

Sure—you can. The whole reason the Ovrxtnd Foundation was created was for women like you. Our goal is to grow the space and the female CoD industry by helping ALL women elevate their careers. If that doesn’t sound like something you’d like to participate in, that’s okay! There are plenty of other places to house your content—we just hope you’ll be interested in supporting a Foundation who supports you.

Your favorite Streamer would have to be part of the Ovrxtnd Coaching & Mentorship program. We hope they are, but if not, encourage them to take a look and learn more. With that said, we will have plenty of qualified, knowledgeable streamers that you can learn from.

The size of the donation that you would have to make to participate in the Coaching & Mentorship Program depends on what you’re subscribing to or purchasing. It will also depend on the Streamer’s subscription and purchase rates for their content.

Your compensation will depend on the exclusive Ovrxtnd content you create. The more content you make, the more chance you have of increasing the amount the Foundation provides you. If you can encourage your community to subscribe to, or purchase, your exclusive Ovrxtnd content, the more money you’ll make.

The video content you provide to Ovrxtnd ideallys should be exclusive content to be shared with only the Ovrxtnd Coaching & Mentorship community. The idea with the program is for you to be rewarded for your work by earning money each time the video is watched when someone makes a donation to the Foundation. As a Partner, you grant the Foundation a license to use your content, but the Foundation doesn’t own it by any means.

Sure! The idea is create a dialogue from Streamer to Gamer to become better at all facets of gaming. However, please keep in mind that if a topic or subject is broached that make either party uncomfortable, or that either party does not want to discuss, the Foundation will step in. Please also keep in mind that if it is determined that the Mentorship is no longer a good fit, the Foundation has the right to end the Mentorship between Streamer and gamer at any time.

No. The money you donate to the Foundation is immediately used for the Foundation goals (or is given to the Streamer) and is non-refundable. If you had a subscription as part of the Coaching & Mentorship program, that will be up to you to cancel. The Foundation is not responsible for managing subscriptions on your behalf.
